ANPR-Based Smart Parking Management System with Entrance, Exit & Parking Slot Indication Using OpenCV & Python

The ANPR-Based Smart Parking Management System uses cameras and Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) to identify vehicles entering and leaving a parking area. The system captures the vehicle number plate, processes it using OpenCV and OCR, and records the entry time, exit time, vehicle number, and parking slot.

The parking area is divided into multiple slots with sensors or camera-based detection. A web dashboard displays the available and occupied parking slots in real time. When a vehicle enters, the system automatically identifies the vehicle and indicates an available parking slot. At the exit, the vehicle number is recognized again and the parking record is updated.
