Project Description

The Early Flood Detection with IoT, SMS Alerts and Automatic Dam Gate Control system is designed to continuously monitor water level, rainfall and water flow around a dam or reservoir. When the water level reaches predefined warning or critical limits, the system generates an early flood warning and sends SMS alerts to authorized users.

Based on the water level and configured safety conditions, the system can automatically control the dam gate opening to regulate water discharge. Real-time water conditions, gate status, alerts and historical data can also be monitored through an IoT-based web dashboard.
